Which Hybrid Photovoltaic Inverter Will Capture the Majority of the PV Market in Poland in 2025?

With the development of the photovoltaic market in Poland, hybrid inverters have become a key element of photovoltaic installations. These devices not only convert direct current from photovoltaic modules into alternating current but also integrate energy storage systems and manage energy consumption in real-time. What features of inverters will be crucial in 2025?

Evaluation Criteria for the Best Hybrid Inverters

Various technological and practical aspects of hybrid inverters are evaluated, including:

    • Energy efficiency — energy conversion efficiency ratio and minimal energy losses.
    • Energy storage management — integration with various types of energy storage systems and efficiency in managing their charging and discharging.
    • Intelligent features — algorithms optimizing energy consumption in real-time, cloud data analysis, and predictive functions.
    • Compatibility — ability to work with various PV systems, energy storage units, and other devices such as heat pumps.
    • Ease of installation and operation — simple mounting, intuitive user interface both in the inverter application and on the website with installation monitoring, and diagnostic functions.
    • Ecology and durability — use of environmentally friendly materials and longevity of the devices.

Candidates for the Title of Best Hybrid Inverter in 2025

The Polish market is dominated by manufacturers who consistently develop their technologies and are frequently chosen by installers and prosumers (end customers):

    • Huawei — a Chinese manufacturer whose inverters are appreciated in Poland for their aesthetic design, high efficiency, and advanced energy monitoring features in the FusionSolar application.
    • Sofar Solar — one of the most recognizable Chinese brands of inverters in Poland. Hybrid inverters with power up to 20 kW are valued for their solid technical parameters and attractive prices, making them accessible to a wide group of customers.
    • Fronius — an Austrian premium brand, valued for the long lifespan of its devices. It offers inverters with advanced active cooling technology and emergency power supply functions.
    • Encor — a brand belonging to the Polish company Corab S.A. It is a relatively new player in the hybrid inverter market, though it’s already gaining recognition thanks to a rich offering of product training and the modern Encor One application. Encor hybrid inverters are characterized by simple installation and compatibility with energy storage systems from the same company. A major advantage is the Polish warranty and professional technical support.
    • SolarEdge — an Israeli leader in energy optimization technology, offering inverters with the possibility of advanced integration with energy storage systems and Smart Home systems.
    • GoodWe — a Chinese manufacturer distinguished by competitive prices and solid quality, particularly valued in the home segment. Thanks to global recognition and numerous technological awards, GoodWe is building its reputation as a reliable manufacturer easily available in Polish wholesalers.
    • Deye — a Chinese brand whose hybrid inverters have gained great popularity in Poland over the last year, especially on the internet. The brand has gained recognition thanks to its favorable quality-to-price ratio and easy integration with devices such as power generators or other grid inverters. Deye inverters are compatible with various types of energy storage systems (low and high voltage). The maximum power of hybrid inverters from this brand is 50 kW.
    • Sungrow — a manufacturer offering hybrid inverters up to 25 kW and dedicated energy storage systems. Sungrow inverters are often chosen for large-scale installations, although they also have their favorites in home solutions. Installers appreciate them for their ease of installation and the ability to remotely monitor via the iSolarCloud mobile application.

Innovations That May Determine the Winner

In 2025, key elements will respond to the challenges of the contemporary energy market:

  • Optimization of operation in the net-billing system — inverters enabling maximization of benefits from new energy settlement rules. Polish technical support – availability of service and technical support for installers and end users.
  • Cybersecurity — safeguards protecting photovoltaic devices from cyber attacks.

Opinions of Installers and End Users

Installers emphasize the importance of inverter compatibility with various energy storage systems and ease of installation. End users, on the other hand, pay attention to the amount of energy produced, intuitiveness of the application, and reliability of operation. When choosing an inverter, it’s worth considering what is most important to us and what is less important: the design of the device, its price, the number of charts and tables in the PV application, or perhaps the stability of system operation.

In my opinion, the brands that combine solid technical parameters and affordable price have the greatest chance of winning the ranking of the best hybrid inverters in Poland.

Individual Advice More Important Than Ever

Before choosing the perfect inverter, it’s worth consulting with an advisor who knows the advantages and disadvantages of selected photovoltaic devices. A professional advisor will examine the user’s energy consumption profile and check the installation possibilities on the roof or ground. Companies and installers who do not regularly invest in training in hybrid inverters will lose customer trust in the long term.
